[HOT] Meeting of the Togo Support Team - July 9, 2013

Hello HOT list,

It has been a while since we had our last meeting with the team in Togo so
there have been no updates since the last meeting.  There has been a change
of leadership on the ground team and that combined with internet connection
problems have stopped us from having regular meetings, but the support team
does plan to continue.  We hope to start having regular meetings again soon
and get back into the planned schedule.

This morning we got two requests from the ground team for support from the
community.


The first is we now have some documents to translate.  They are short
handouts to inform people about the project and how it works.  Currently
they are in French and we would like to have them translated into English.
 I have attached the documents to this email.  Please post a message to the
list if you start working on them so we don't get multiple people
duplicating eachother's work.  There were some logos in one of the
documents which I removed to make them smaller, Nicolas can just re-add
them after the text is translated or just replace the French text with the
translated text in his document.


The second request we have is to get a daily update of the Garmin .img
files for the area available to the ground team so that everyday when they
go survey they can have the latest data available on their GPS units.  If
someone has infrastructure to do this and could set it up please post to
the list letting us know, if not, we would try to find some online service
with up to date data that can do this.  Finally, and more long term, it
might be nice to have this as an output option for the HOT export tool.
