Hi all!

I just wanted to say how happy Mapzen is to be able to support this type of
internship. From our perspective, there has never been a more opportune
time to get more women involved in the OpenStreetMap community and we see
HOT -- with the commitment to respectful dialogue and humane mission as a
supportive environment for such change.

The Outreach Program for Women is a world renown advocate for bringing more
women into FOSS. I encourage you to propose topics, help us select a great
women, and be as welcoming and supportive as you always are. We at Mapzen
are ready to assist!

My hope is that this is the first internship of many, and that this time
next year, we have many organizations sponsoring HOT/OSM internships for
women.

Best,
Alyssa.
