[HOT] Trip to Swaziland:: What data could we collect?

I set my GoPro to take a picture ever 5 seconds. This gives better quality
than individual frame extracted from video in my experience.
If you will be traveling in a car, you can made a mount for a GoPro or
other camera, that attaches to the hood or roof of the vehicle using a
magnet such as: http://www.harborfreight.com/66mm-round-magnet-96650.html
In general, if you are taking photos you can geo reference them later as
long as you take a picture of the GPS screen showing the time. This allow
you to compensate for any error in the camera's clock and assign positions
to photos from your GPS tracks. Set the GPS to record tracks, and keep the
camera and GPS in fairly close proximity to each other (e.g. in the same
vehicle).
