Hi All,

My name is Chul Hyun Park. A few weeks ago, I finished my Ph.D.
dissertation entitled *Toward a Better Understanding of Complex Emergency
Response Systems: An Event-Driven Lens for Integrating Formal and
Volunteer-Based, Participatory Emergency Responses*. In this dissertation,
I conducted interviews with HOT members and received important insights
from them. I really appreciate the interviewees and all HOT members that
have made significant contributions to the effective humanitarian response
for the past years. You can access a formatted version of my dissertation
here

If you have any comments or thoughts, feel free to let me know.

I'll continue to research management and technical strategies for
integrating formal emergency response and volunteer-based emergency
response. If you are working on related research projects, please let me
know. I would be happy to collaborate!

Best wishes,

Chul
