Hi,
I have been involved with street naming and mapping activities in Ghana for
sometime know. Currently most street have been named and houses numbered in
the format, however these data exist only within district or government
offices! Our postcode system works differently and it belongs to
individuals and not houses so it will be a bit difficult to sync in with
postcodes. Recent development is ongoing to see how we can link these
separate data into one for easy identification.
I would be glad to share more light on our street naming system and how
houses are numbered and also how we can easily link these data using a
unique property number (upn) that is assigned to each house
It would be a great deal for business within this landscape.
Thanks
Sylvester
