Hi Gertrude,

 

I am not quite sure what kind of ‘accuracy tools’ you’re asking about.  It sounds like you will be mapping in the field? If so, GPS units are going to be your best bet (unless you have access to professional survey equipment).  We often supply our field missions with Garmin Etrex-20 units (http://sites.garmin.com/en-US/etrex/). We also often employ field papers to go along with/in-replacement of GPS (http://fieldpapers.org/). 

 

There are also many mobile applications for survey/field-data-collection, I think this is a good place to start: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Software#Mobile_Devices

We are orgainising an event on 8th March women's Day in Zambia. We would like to know The best tool that can give us accuracy, Cause we are going to map sanitation I.e toilets, water taps and waste in a slum Where The plots and toilets are close to each other.
