Hi,
Here you can find instructions for install portabableApps on a USB stick:
http://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/java_portable
Then it's not necessary to reboot your computer into Linux. Nor is it
necessary to have administrator rights to run Java applications.
Regarding the use of JOSM for Mapathons. I've been trying to promote that
