[HOT] Task Manager slowness

Yes, those Aweil projects with the large number of tiny, odd shaped areas are nearly unusable.
I guess that's the reason why #2419 for example is not geting on

Shame, it's quite frustrating ... and I'd love a little after-lunch mapping at work ...
