[HOT] Fwd: OpenBadges and HOT - Here we go !

Hi all,

Sorry to dig out this old thread. Also I'm sorry because this is not
completely related to HOT.

I'm interested to get feedback on OpenBadges. I'd be interested to
know why HOT (Blake ?) chose OpenBadges.

While I like the idea of badges (pretty images), OpenBadges doesn't
seem to be spread a lot. I can't find any good example of people using
this as a CV. One can share the link on LinkedIn but this may appear
(and get lost) in an activity feed. Note: there's a "Certification"
section but badges don't go there unfortunately.

Also the back ref to http://backpack.openbadges.org doesn't even give
the name to the guy who earns the badge.
