Dear HOT Community,

We published the first project in response to the current flooding in Sri
Lanka. This project is for experienced mappers and is focused on the road
network only. There will be a few more projects like this one. As more
information comes in about needs for map data, we may publish more projects
that are building focused, but for now we are focused on the road network,
completing it and correcting simple errors in existing mapping.

Below is a brief review of the situation and some links to the sources we
are using for priortizing our mapping untill we hear more from people on
the ground.

If you are an experienced mapper and validator, please visit the Tasking
Manager http://tasks.hotosm.org/ and help out with these initial projects.
