[HOT] Irma in the Caribbean

Hey Bill - there is some discussion happening in the #disaster-mapping
channel on Slack around this as well. Some Puerto Rico discussion happening
in #disasters on OSMUS Slack.

Netherlands Red Cross is doing some pre-mapping in St. Maarten:

Haven’t seen any projects set up for northern Haiti, but it also looks like
the main path may not directly hit Haiti and Dominican Republic? More
directly hitting Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, and then up. Looking at need
for where there could be some mapping in the Virgin Islands.

Hello,

Has there been any discussion of an activation for Hurricane Irma's impacts
outside of the USA? I see some mention of it on the Haiti discussion list (
https://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/talk-ht/2017-September/001379.html),
but no mention of mapping needs in Cuba or the Dominican Republic. Do we
work with responding organizations in either country?
