Hey Pete :)

I think you've already been engaging -- remember you spoke with OSMF Board Member Jean Marc about HOT's direction to decenter itself from humanitarian mapping. That was really helpful context to share directly. There have been a few more discussions on the topic, but nothing substantially discussed. Broadly the idea remains that OSMF might be able to play a role in this process, perhaps through support and encouragement of local chapters and communities.

Hi all,

In the draft OSMF strategic plan, there is the following line (under Humanitarian mapping):

    * Through dialog, explore ways for the OSMF to support the expanding and changing ecosystem of diverse actors in humanitarian mapping.

I'm interested in engaging with this, but have no context... Has anyone here been following the process closely enough to provide some?

Cheers,

Pete
