[HOT] [UPDATE] OSM stats

Hi all,

Apologies this update comes a little later than promised, but I come
bearing good news.

After a quick huddle on the issues interrupting the OSM stats servers,
hot_tech took about some rapid repairs in an effort to bring the OSM stats
back from the brink. As I mentioned last week, we expected about 30% chance
of being able to resolve the issue within a week.

Well, thanks to Ramya, Yogesh and Dakota (aka DK) they managed to make the
improbable possible and successfully upgraded the servers without
collapsing the OSM stats universe into a big data black hole :woohooemoji:.
Team Galaxy to the rescue!

So after you thank them deeply, but before you ask 'how come my stats
haven't updated yet?' please read below:

- the team literally needs to bring the past into the present for all data
to be up to date. So please stand by for around 10 days for things to be
back to 'real time'

- all contributions are still being collected and uploaded to OSM, we just
need to backfill the database for it to show the last few missing weeks of
missing maps missing stats

- while the data gets updated, the "Last Updated On" section in the
leaderboard portal may not reflect the state of data accurately

- the most accurate reliable source of information is the
/health-leaderboard command in slack. This will give you the real info on
where things stand.

- although this episode has come to a close, we don't believe it's the end
of the mission. We plan to launch into a discovery phase with project
co-owners and key stakeholders to imagine some possible futures and next
steps for the OSM stats project.

Well, this analogy has been well and truly milked, so I'll sign off.
