[HOT] Settlements in Sudan

I'm playing in Sudan at the moment and noticed some settlements
surrounded by irrigated fields are quite densely populated with
buildings, probably houses.

An example is:

I've also noticed one or two of these settlements have had their
buildings mapped in a HOT task manager project.

You can make an estimate of population from the number of buildings.
However if you take the number of buildings in a given settlement in
this area and divide by the area of the settlement, most are square then
you can take the area of another similar settlement of the same density
and extrapolate the number of buildings.  Not quite as accurate as
having all the buildings accurately mapped but certainly fairly close.

Can anyone suggest a tag to add to the landuse=residential that might
indicate the building density?  It might save mapping a few settlements
for buildings.

Cheerio John
