<div>I believe there is a misunderstanding of the request being
made. As many individuals are stuck at home, there are people
and organizations requesting <b>virtual</b> mapathons so that
those at home can keep busy and socialize online while also
supporting a good cause. </div>

<div>And the purpose is not necessarily to map resources related
to the COVID-19 response, but one of the several active tasks
available. We are all rather consumed by the COVID response at
the moment but there are still disasters and issues around the
world that require our support. </div>

In my country you phone and get assessed, if required you get
directed <br>
to a testing station. The testing station is temporary and may
move <br>
rapidly. Testing stations do not want to attract those who
have not been <br>
through the assessment procedure, so they don not want to be
mapped.<br>

No point in mapping pharmacies/chemists as there is no anti
virus.<br>

Mapping hospitals and Doctors? They don't want people showing
up who <br>
think they may have COVID without prior phone contact. See the
above <br>
about testing stations.<br>

Now what are you going to map to aid COVID??? Having a
'mapathon' were <br>
people are in close proximity to one another may certain aid
the <br>
propagation of COVID rather than hinder it.<br>

Please list what you are thinking of adding to the map ...<br>

And think about unnecessary personal contact. Social
distancing should <br>
be the first consideration for COVID.<br>
