[Imports-us] Best way to do "intersect" with JOSM?

I'd like to load a bunch of points, then run an intersection operation with
some areas.
What's the best way to do that?

Specifically:
Use overpass to load all amenity=police
Use overpass to load all boundary=national_park
Retag.

No big deal to do this by hand, but if I can spend more time automating it,
it is more geeky.
