Ok, sorry i lied.
I fixed up the page
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Shp-to-osm.jar
It just needs to be better referenced on the shp2osm page
... as the gml files can also be used with the shp2osm program.
So that needs to be explained too.
