Hello,
We have started a project in the district of Viersen with the Land Registry.
We give them changes of relevant construction works.
Example: new roads, cultivations of general interest,....
The Land Registry has the plans, but unfortunately, the message of
completed by the developer comes very late. (till a year)
Here we share the info.
In return we get data of the land registry.
We have imported nature reserves.
Then we have all the addresses in the district of Viersen imported.
Currently we are importing the building information.
The data were from the Land Registry under the ODbL and CC by-sa released.
For each data transfer, we have a separate letter.
The imports are also marked with source = Katasteramt_Kreis_Viersen
A special user was generated also for import:
http://www.openstreetmap.org/user/Shape_Import_Viersen
In the district of Viersen in June 2012 were not created so many buildings.
To facilitate the import, all existing buildings which have no further
information will be deleted.
Users who have registered a number of buildings were notified of this
action and pointed to a possible conflict.
The responses were great.
The data of the land registry to the buildings are very extensive.
The import of this high level of detail of the OSM database would only
charge and would like a map display OSM need not even necessary.
Therefore, data reduction was made for restrictions.
So not every foundation wall of a house is painted, contiguous buildings
with the same use are summarized.
As an example, consider four terraced houses which are all used for
residential buildings. Here are just a building a cohesive is drawn.
Some buildings (eg silos) consisted of a large number of nodes (points),
these were reduced as circular shapes in a very small grid were recorded.
There was also a lot of data in the multi-polygon shapes, unfortunately,
no indication of a possible ranking. (for example, ratio inner / outer)
They were all set by hand.
The Land Registry object keys have been included in the Tag=description.
The use of the building has been translated as far as possible.
The vote will take place on local Viersener Community.
