(I had not hit confirmation for subscribing to the list, so I apologize if
this was received twice).

Per the wiki, I wanted to clear that I could proceed with manually
importing the shape file from Williamson County GIS office and City of
Austin GIS office. My plan is to ensure that park boundaries and locations
are added/corrected and I plan to confirm each parks usage, naming, etc
individually. I'll set up an import account as well per the wiki.

Williamson County, TX

The disclaimer is pretty close for both -

City of Austin- "This product is for informational purposes and may not
have been prepared for or be suitable for legal, engineering, or surveying
purposes. It does not represent an on-the-ground survey and represents only
the approximate relative location of property boundaries. This product has
been produced by the Communications and Technology Department for the sole
purpose of geographic reference. No warranty is made by the City of Austin
regarding specific accuracy or completeness."

Williamson County - "Data Disclaimer

The maps and data on this site are for general planning purposes only. The
underlying basemap conforms to National Map Accuracy Standards in
unobstructed areas. Williamson County makes no warranty, representation or
guarantee as to the content, sequence, accuracy, timeliness or completeness
of any of the database information or spatial locations depicted.
Furthermore, all warranties on merchantability and fitness for a particular
purpose are hereby disclaimed. In no event shall Williamson County be
liable to the recipient or any other party for damages of any type,
including but not limited to incidental, consequential or exemplary damages
arising out of the use or inability to use these materials."

The city of Austin site has been noted on
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Potential_Datasources#Texas but I'd like
to confirm before proceeding since I plan to import a lot of the park
shapes.

Thanks,
Matthew
