Thanks for posting to the list.
- Change set tags should go into the wiki. source=, source:en =
- The issue of not extending the borders out into the ocean needs to
be discussed. Do any of the admin entities at level 6 or 8 have
jurisdiction over the ocean?
- I could not find any boundary=administrative data besides level 2,
and 4 in OSM? The boundary geometry may be defined separate from
features such as roads, rivers, coastline, etc.
If a river or coastline moves from natural processes, does the admin
boundary move to? If not, then the admin boundary geometry should not
be conflated with the geometry for other entities (rivers, coastline,
etc), it should be uploaded by with its own geometry.
