As a subscriber to this list, you probably know that importing ODbL data
is considered problematic by some. This is especially true for building
outlines. Those are often the starting point for many additional tags,
such as addresses, shops and amenities, 3d mapping and so on. If this
import ever has to be removed from the database for legal reasons, all
such data added to the buildings by future mappers will also be lost.
These consequences would make your proposed import a lot more risky than
the recent building height import.

Was any attempt made to ask for a less restrictive license for this dataset?
