Thanks for the additional information.  Just a quick reply on the most 
important things - i don't have much time right now.

My question was "How do you deal with clouds in imagery?"  If 1% of the 
data you plan to import was bogus due to clouds that would IMO 
disqualify it from being imported.  So i think it is important to have 
an answer to that question.

My question was about the mapping experience of those people in 
OpenStreetMap.  None of the import accounts you mention references a 
normal mapping account with non-import mapping work of the person in 
question.

Other important questions that were not answered yet i think:

* where is the full data you plan to import?  Since you don't want to 
share your process to produce the data it is necessary to look at the 
generated data you plan to import to do a proper evaluation.

* are you using any other data to produce what you want to import other 
than the DG imagery and existing OSM data?

So you say you automatically connect roads in close proximity even if 
you have no observable information in your source data that such 
connection actually exists?  That seems a really bad idea.
