[Imports] Samaria GPX file. Wrong placement of Gorge by current map.

Yes, from current imagery it looks like the river and path are displaced
about 200m W 300m S from correct position??

Not really the right place. This list is about importing data in bulk
from outside sources.  Nevertheless, here are some answers...

Another step you could take is to place a Map Note describing the
problem and mentioning your GPS trace - you can do that directly from
the map view

You might find other users in Greece to do the editing using channels
mentioned here

You have no obligation to do the editing. And I do agree it is a large
edit for a beginner. However...
Editing is not so hard. If you have uploaded GPS trace you already can
log in to edit.
If you click on "Edit" at the link you gave above, the editor will open
with your GPS trace highlighted.
You can do no damage trying it and then not saving your edits.
