Great, thanks Kenny, I look forward to any edge cases you find. :)

On my own personal experience with the street names so far, they've mostly been minor spelling variations and such, like "St Josephs Ct" (from TIGER data) instead of "Saint Josephs Court", etc. I've been cross-referencing with the online map of the state street data here: https://www.arcgis.com/home/webmap/viewer.html?url=http%3A%2F%2Fgisservices.its.ny.gov%2Farcgis%2Frest%2Fservices%2FNYS_Streets%2FMapServer&source=sd

Sometimes it's hard to know who is right, but sometimes it's obvious, so the state street data can be useful for these.
