That is true, thanks for the suggestion. I did consider this, but I have actually seen imports in the past that did this, and choosing to automatically move the coordinates of points to space them out can lead to big quality problems. For cases where it's only 2 nodes, the chances of causing problems are small, but when there are hundreds of points stacked on top of each other, if you just choose to indiscriminately and automatically add a small amount to one of the axes of the coordinate, you could inadvertently end up with nodes that creep into the street, adjacent buildings, etc. I think that should be a manual process, because a human looking at the satellite imagery is pretty much the only way to space out the points in a reasonable way.
