https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Automated_Edits_code_of_conduct
has "For major changes (in the six-digit range or more), check with the admins
(try IRC <https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/IRC>) to ensure that there your change will not interfere with any other
operations at a sys admin level, or check the usage graphs <https://prometheus.openstreetmap.org/> to find out at which
time the servers are not busy."
Is it still true/relevant/useful?
It seemed always suspicious to me,
https://github.com/openstreetmap/operations/issues/501#issuecomment-766699630
repeated my suspicions.
I plan to remove it unless there is a valid reason to keep it.
