[Imports] Test API

Hi, I would like to try the API [1] using the database [2] for my tests.
For now I don't want to use the live-api but just test the API
reading/writing the database [2].
I readed the documentation [3], [4] which I will use if and when I use the
live-api.
Can I proceed with my tests or do I need to do something else?
