[Imports] List of hospitals, schools in Germany

Hi Chris,

thank you for asking out to this mailing list.

Are you familiar and experienced with mapping in Germany – both as a
couch mapper and on the ground? Are you experienced with JOSM (sorry but
for fixing mistakes, this is required)?

Have you compared the datasets with OSM yet? Even if the license were
incompatible, a comparison of OSM and third-party datasets could point
out where mappers can improve OSM using on the ground survey other,
permitted sources.

Do we discuss about five hospitals/schools/… or 200?

Which dataset is more up-to-date? OSM or the "official" dataset?

Please mind that the German community users
https://community.openstreetmap.org (Discourse) as its main forum for
discussions. Any import which affects Germany has to be discussed there.
In order to have a productive discussion on Discourse, you should have
answers to the questions above when you post your plan there.

Any import plan has to point out which dataset is going to be used and
which license the dataset has.

It might be more efficient to check if it is an import at all or an
organised editing campaign might be more efficient (discussion and
documentation is required as well).

Best regards

Michael
