Hi

With regards to mappinglanders comment, that some prefer mail to keep 
track of things:

The OpenStreetMap Community forum has a mailinglist like interface 
enabled, which works well enough. I prefer mail as well to get 
everything in one place, and the forum is a good compromise which should 
work for both "worlds", the forum people and the mail people. So for me 
this works, it lessens the duplication.

Would this compromise also work for you, mappinglander? Or what speaks 
against it?
