for example you don’t get an email with your own posts. Do forum users see their own posts or are they hidden as well?

Also there is lag in email, sometimes I reply to a post and someone else on the forum does the same at the same time, and in my email client it looks like I have replied first (my reality) while in the forum it seems the other contributor replied first.
