What's the URL you're requesting them with. TiledWMS services often
have ways of retreiving the projection info.

The Landsat server I found uses WGS84 Longlat (EPSG:4326). Mapserver
can do reprojections on the fly, crschmidt has a server that exports
landsat in mercator is you wish to use that...
