[josm-dev] Default Presets

Hi,

I just joined the list, so I have no clue about recent discussions here.

I have some presets available, including icons. As I send them to 
individuals from time to time (and help to set them up), I wonder if 
those could be included into the default JOSM distribution. There have 
been some efforts by Imi in the past, but we didn't finish it.

There are still wishes about the preset capabilities, but that's not 
part of the discussion. The preset system is highly configurable and 
flexible as it is. IMO it would be cool to make more users benefit from 
the existing code.

Questions:

* Can we include them?
* Was it possible to make them accessible via a dedicated, hierarchical  
menu instead a (rather hidden) combo in the right hand panel?
* Was it possible to add some of them to the menu bar by default?

BTW: I'd volunteer to maintain those presets for the foreseeable future.
