The relations I'm working with were generated automatically by the OSM 
server during the conversion to 0.5 API. I think this happened because I 
wrongly created areas with shared segments in 0.4. Now I'm trying to 
clean up this mess.

There is also a bug in the relations editor window. The delete button is 
enabled even when there are no more ways in the list. If you click on 
the delete button, JOSM reports a bug.
