You'll probably have to have a little patience with this. While it
would be relatively easy to draw a line to the current mouse pointer,
I would prefer a bigger solution that will display a temporary
rendition of what will happen if you click the button - including the
line to the last point, but also any nodes placed near or into
existing ways and so on. This will however take some restructuring of
the display engine in order not to slow down work too much.
