That may get into the same problem that we have with select, tiny,
hard to prevent cursor movements cause the point to be moved. But
then maybe that is not so much of a problem when you are creating a
new node. It is already a bit touchy as to where the node is created.
That brings me to a point I have wanted to ask about. Is the hot
spot of the cursor actually on the tip of the pointer? When I
perform a zoom function using the scroll wheel, I always see a point
that is to the upper left of the cursor as the center of the
zoom. If I put the tip of the cursor on a node, that node moves to
the lower right as I zoom in. Does this issue also affect the
location where a new node is created? Sometimes when I add a node to
a way, the way jumps a bit as if the node was not created at the tip
of the pointer.
