[josm-dev] some JOSM plugins fail to load on Mac

Normally I use Windows, but I was helping someone new with JOSM on a Mac 
today. It failed to load a number of plugins: utils, wmsplugin, 
ywms,validator but it did load mappaint and namefinder both of which 
work OK.

I just installed it on my own Mac as well, and had exactly the same set 
of failures.

Before I investigate further does anyone know about this already?
