[josm-dev] Creating areas automatically

I'm reposting this, since I've made a mistake of replying to an existing 
thread, sorry.

One question regarding drawing closed areas.
Let's say you have an area for which you want to create a closed way. 
The area is already closed by other (adjacent) areas (ways) and you just 
want to give JOSM a single point inside the area. JOSM would look for 
area boundaries and create a new way which would contain all the 
boundary nodes (and possibly add the "area = yes" tag). Would it be 
possible to add to JOSM such a tool?
If you want, I could try to develop an algorithm in C# for this, and 
then you would just translate it into Java.
