More a general reminder :-) Your mail was the third in last days.

The "Attach to Trac" is important for all stuff I or others need to handle 
so nobody forgets it.

Well, if you have write access, then it is your decision if you wait, 
checkin or attach to a trac. When you post patches here, then make clear 
it is for review only, so I need not care for them (except reviewing of 
course).
