The files are all close to the API limit so 50,000ish changes (10,000
worked so well I thought going higher would be fine).
Are you comparing the last upload to before API 0.6?

No, it was with build 1681 of JOSM 2 weeks ago. And it was averaging 20
minutes for ~10,000 changes (just checked the changesets), as opposed to 12
hours for 50,000

So do I. Though even at this point I've resumed after being disconnected and
have 600 changes left (according to the progress meter) and it's estimating
20 minutes, which just seems like it's a bit long.
