Hello Basti,

I think this implementation for opening image files led to bug 4288.
I added some analysis to this bug report, but I'm not sure how the problem should be fixed. That's why I did not (yet) provide a patch.

In OpenFileAction you have a list of files and pass the full list to a batch importer, but this is currently not possible when files are specified as command line args. In this case all importers are called with single files.


Maybe we need a new implementation of the command line processing.
