Well no. There are only 2 places - A Cron job doing these regular checks
of external stuff and one JOSM-plugin for Trac. Trac is really a powerful
software which allows such expansions in a nice way. The only problem is,
that we can't move away from trac without loosing all these features.

/home/josm/backup contains a daily backup with everything included.
Currently I'm probably the only one doing a daily copy of this file. I
would appreciate if you (and/or Sebastian) do as well. /home/josm/README
contains notes what needs to be done to resetup all (actually only
apache+cron config and installing of relevant software).

Every automatism (update-list, plugins-list, style-list, help and start
page), and Yahoo download. For all of these users would need to do the
manual way - download and install :-) The same as when using JOSM offline.
