You have to dive right into the code, to see how things work. There
should be comments for important methods and classes in the code, but
it is in no way complete or formalized. I think this is normal in the
open source world: We do it for fun in our free time and some people
enjoy writing documentation, others not so much. Having strict
policies would turn people off, so there would be no code to document
in the first place. :)
