JOSM read error geofabrik-index-v1-nogeom.json

JOSM still fails on it. I can load it in a browser though, so it seems 
like a problem in JOSM.

This is the log:

And then JOSM suggests to check my proxy settings but I don't have a 
proxy and downloading and uploading data works fine.
