Hey Nick,

No, I don't think this email address is a great thing. We made it before 
LearnOSM became the popular site it is today. I think we should either 
have a lot more people on the email list (I get emails in almost every 
language of LearnOSM at some point). I think the address probably makes 
sense to stay the same, but perhaps there are volunteers from the 
learnosm-coord at openstreetmap.org 
<mailto:learnosm-coord at openstreetmap.org> to be added to 
learnosm at hotosm.org <mailto:learnosm at hotosm.org>. I've cc'd Kristen who 
can add anyone to the address that is needed.

    I've started to do more towards maintaining the site & don't know if
    this is the best route - I don't know who receives the emails &
    whether they could deal with a quick request for help or amendment
    from a reader or whether something else should be considered.

    For that matter I don't know if anyone ever clicks on the link &
    sends an email!

    Personally I would like the emails to go to a group email address
    where someone who is free at the time can answer them - there should
    be several people in the group. From preference there should be an
    archive list such as https://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/hot/
    - but this is only worthwhile if the site ever generates any traffic.

    I had been considering changing the email address to
    learnosm-coord at openstreetmap.org
    <mailto:learnosm-coord at openstreetmap.org> but this may not be the
    best option.

    Assuming I continue to work towards keeping learnOSM up to date,
    adding me into the email address group may be a simple option?
