That is a different question. :-)
I was just responding to the issue that Kari brought up as a
disadvantage: that we'd need to create separate passwords.
No, *if* we wanted we would not need separate passwords.
Now if OSM provided some proper remote auth like OpenID, people wouldn't
have to trust their OSM passwords to the PD version. But that is a
problem on the OSM side of things...
