As some people are talking about, just require SA on the "underlying" 
geodata but not on the "rendered" work.

As I see it, most mash-ups only use the data without modification. In 
this case, a link to the OSM website (where the data can be found) is 
sufficient.

If a mash-up let it's user tag segments with useful information, or plot 
error in the layout, then this is considered a derivative work of the 
data and it should be available under a license compatible with OSM license.
