[OSM-legal-talk] looking at google earth as a guide

Hi all, I was just thinking: looking at Google Earth could be quite
useful when adding segments to osm. I mean just looking, possibly on
another computer.

Would this make osm a derivative work of the satellite imagery? Would
it fall under fair use/dealing? Just something to consider the legal
aspects of, I'm not saying we should do this.
