I am unhappy with this for a number of reasons. Firstly, I don't want 
you to put that list under each road in Osmarender as I suspect you will ;-)

Secondly, I belive that this information would be misleading because it 
would suggest that these people (and exactly these) are the ones who 
hold rights over that piece of data, which is, as far as I interpret the 
IP situation, plain wrong; you can have changed an object without having 
become a co-creator in the IP sense (e.g. if you make a marginal or bulk 
change, if you make a change that later gets reverted, if you revert 
someone else's change - in fact, you can currently even change an object 
without changing it!), and the reverse is also true - you can enter data 
that becomes the basis for other objects without ever being a creator or 
modifier of the other objects.

What would the list of people having touched an object achieve? I don't 
see anything that would merit the effort.
