When you copy an mp3 from a p2p network without permission you are  
breaking copyright.

Which rights are someone who downloads the "fenced" geodata breaking?

There is no copyright, no database right*, it's not a trade secret and  
they haven't agreed to a contract.

Given this, what are they doing that is illegal rather than immoral?
