I'm pro-copyleft and I'd support this :-) It's clear it would be more 
money than exists on the planet so there's no risk of anyone actually 
taking it, but doing it would send an unambiguous legal signal that we 
considered the data to have value.

Of course, it would probably be far more complicated to do than is worth 
it for the benefit gained. But it's a fun idea.
